I was thinking about the high winds, 80-100 mph, which were not caused by cyclone 500 miles away, and I remember Bab Roberts, the prophet, saying “they” had the ability to bend the trade winds down closer to the earth, increasing the wind. I can remember in Texas a weird 10 minute wind happening in the panhandle, I think, and it caused a lot of damage and then stopped abruptly. Bab said there was a device up in the Dakotas which could do this. It could also be used to bring colder weather down into the nation. Apparently we gave Russia a similar, less powerful, device at a time when we were still sharing tech with them. I think in the 70s.

Many times I have read of “supposed” tornadoes happening at night and destroying property. No one could see a tornado because it was dark, but it destroyed like a tornado.

I am a Texan…. tornadoes have been happening in this state forever… at all times of the day… long before technology appeared. They aren’t “supposed” tornadoes… they are real ones that occur in tornado alley. There was no magical nighttime tornado…. as to the “cyclone blast” that hit the Panhandle…I was there. Take a meteorologist/weather course and get back to me.

I looked for the article, but I didn’t save it. What caught my attention to the article was that they had no explanation for the short-lived 100 mile straight-line winds that stopped abruptly.

When a major storm stirs up, it’s possible a bomb cyclone could accompany it — especially in the winter months. The rare weather phenomenon can bring a variety of hazards, including heavy snow, high winds, dangerous wind chill temperatures and coastal flooding. A bomb cyclone, also known as bombogenesis, is a fast-developing storm that occurs when atmospheric pressure drops at least 24 millibars over a 24-hour period, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration note online.

A bomb cyclone occurs when atmospheric pressure at the center of the cyclone drops rapidly. In order to approximately qualify, the pressure needs to drop about 1 [millibar], or more, every hour over a 24-hour period.
