Obamacare: Collectivist Medicine at the Point of a Gun

Share

Obamacare, for all its good intentions, is socialized medicine at gunpoint. It’s the collectivist idea that the Government has the right to force you to buy something.

Obamacare, the giant behemoth, has arrived.

How will it affect you? Will it change society for the better? Although nothing is black and white and any issue has many sides, I think it is wise to look at any kind of governmentally controlled socialized medicine with a healthy degree of skepticism. Simply put, with Obamacare the US Federal Government has now assumed even more power over its citizens and even more control over society. It will now manage health care for almost the entire nation, something it was never constitutionally designed to do. And, as Ronald Reagan once said, “No government ever voluntarily reduces itself in size. Government programs, once launched, never disappear. Actually, a government bureau is the nearest thing to eternal life we’ll ever see on this earth!”

America’s former spirit of individualism …

America was founded with the spirit of freedom, independence and unalienable individual rights, and its legal framework was deliberately set up to inhibit the centralization of power by restricting how much power the Federal Government could have. Sovereignty resided with the people, and secondarily with the States. The framers of the Constitution and Bill of Rights even included a whole amendment (the Tenth) to specifically state that any power not granted and enumerated to the Federal Government was reserved for the States or the people.

Sadly, generation by generation, the knowledge of the inherent sovereignty of We the People has been eroded, and now we come to a point where the Federal Government has become a Nanny State. It is prying into, monitoring and controlling just about every aspect of our lives – way beyond its constitutional mandate. However noble the intentions of Obamacare may be in attempting to provide health care for all members of society, the fact is that it is based on a socialist or collectivist model of forced participation and forced wealth distribution. Those who do not buy insurance will be fined, and if they refuse to pay, then eventually imprisoned. That is medicine at the point of a gun.

Collectivism, an insidious concept

Collectivism is a dangerous concept. It dominates our minds and at first glance seems so benign – “the greatest good of the greatest number.” What could be wrong with that? Actually, a lot. Collectivism prioritizes the group over the individual. Political ideologies based on collectivism include Marxism, Communism and Socialism, which basically dictate that all individuals, causes and other loyalties (e.g. family, nation, religion) are subservient to the State, and that if necessary the individual must be sacrificed for the greater good. In extreme collectivist societies, the State is everything and the individual is nothing, an absurd inversion of reality.

(As an interesting aside, collectivism has something very much in common with Satanism, in that both invert reality: black is white, war is peace and pain is pleasure).

Collectivism opens the door for majority rule. A more just, intelligent and peaceful minority can easily be outvoted and turned upon by an emotional, low-minded majority. Unless you have individual rights and minority protections in place, a collectivist “majority rules” model even allows a majority to legally inflict harm on individuals and minorities.

However, majority rule is nothing compared to totalitarianism, for which collectivism also opens the door. When you study the history of nations over the past century or so, you can see how small elite minorities have gained control of the “State” and claimed that this organization will represent everyone, hold all resources in trust for everyone, and distribute all these for the good of everyone. However, having so much power concentrated in the hands of so few is fascism, no matter what you call it. How many times have we heard power-hungry leaders claim that a republic is too cumbersome and should therefore be bypassed? That we should instead have a wise, kind ruling group that should be trusted to collect all resources and distribute them fairly … when in fact it’s just tyranny by another name?

The whole concept of “the greater good” or “the group” is abstract. In reality, there is no such thing as a group. There are only individuals who make up a group. The same goes for the “State”. In reality, there are only people who make up the State. When you elevate the imagined needs of an abstract, unreal entity (the “group” or the “State”) above the tangible, real needs of its living members, you open the door for all sorts of atrocities.

Obamacare is collectivism

Obamacare is rooted in collectivist thinking. The US Government is actually forcing people to buy a product (health insurance). Since when did the Federal Government have any authority to force its citizens to purchase an item? In an act of great treachery, the US Supreme Court upheld this action as constitutionally valid, by twisting the issue and re-defining the Government’s threatened fines as a “tax”!

Obamacare will further entrench a burgeoning bureaucracy that separates patients and doctors. Gone are the days when you could simply visit doctors when you needed and pay them cash directly. Now we have to have insurance, and we have HMO corporations to manage everything and take a large cut. I can’t see how any society could have a truly great health care system when it allows for-profit corporations to insert themselves as the middleman between patients and doctors. The for-profit system can never work very well for the consumer in the health arena, simply because if you are really sick or your life is in danger, you have no bargaining power. You’ll pay anything for treatment if you’re dying. This means consumers’ demand is inelastic (as economists would put it) and thus can be easily exploited by greedy health insurance companies.

Another area of grave concern surrounding Obamacare is privacy. Thanks to the heroic efforts of whistleblower Ed Snowden, the world is now very aware of the outrageous spying the NSA has been conducting on average Americans. Knowledge is power, and the more Big Brother knows about you, the more he can control you. Do you want the Government knowing your entire health history? Can you imagine how easy it will be now for the Government to intimidate dissidents or activists by threatening to deny or reduce their treatment? Or how easily it will be able to analyze the psychological history of its critics, and thus find their weaknesses?

Obamacare means more Governmental control

As mentioned earlier, the Government is granting itself a ton of power with this bill. The language of Obamacare is filled with the phrase “the Secretary shall determine” (meaning the Secretary of Health and Human Services [HHS], currently Kathleen Sebelius), implying that the Secretary (representing the Federal Government) has the final word, regardless of whether it is in contravention to the patient, to the doctor, to the insurance contract, or to State law. Do you really want the Government deciding how much and what kind of treatment you do or don’t receive? What’s to stop the Government down the road from demanding people take toxic vaccines (laden with mercury, aluminum, formaldehyde and MSG) before getting treatment?

Finally, Obamacare has teamed up with the IRS to authorize hundreds of new jobs to be created for IRS agents. These agents will be tasked with conducting door-to-door visits. Obamacare contains a provision, as explained on the HHS website, that your family will be targeted if you fall under a “high-risk” category, i.e. families where mom is not yet 21, where someone is a tobacco user, where children have low student achievement and where individuals serve or formerly served in the military. This opens the door for the State to legally snatch children from their parents under the guise of “protecting the innocent” – and sadly we live in a world where there is already a massive problem with missing kids, child sex rings and elite pedophilia.

There has also been talk about Obamacare “rationing” care with the so-called “Death Panel” or Independent Payment Advisory Board (or Independent Medicare Advisory Board as it is actually called in the bill). While a lot of the hype around this was petty and immature bipartisan exaggeration from the Republicans, I think there is still valid concern that, just as Obamacare could open the door for State-endorsed child-snatching, it could also open the door for State-endorsed euthanasia – something the New World Order (NWO) eugenicists are only too eager to begin rolling out in society. Leaked elite documents over the years have shown that the NWO is pushing for a broader acceptance of euthanasia as part of their depopulation agenda.

Obamacare solutions

So, what are some Obamacare solutions? To begin with, let me mention two ways every American could have adequate or even excellent health care coverage, without any need for any citizen to pay another cent. Firstly, we could curtail the outrageous military spending. Did you know that Congress pushed through and approved $5 billion dollars of defense contracts for the Pentagon, on the night of September 30th, 2013 right before the Government Shutdown, where the Government claimed it didn’t have sufficient funds to keep functioning? Did you know that in 2012 the Government spent a staggering 59% of the Federal Budget on war, and only 6% on health care? The US Government values killing the enemy 10 times as highly as caring for the sick.

Secondly, most people are unaware of the gross deception perpetrated by the Government when it claims it is bankrupt or has to raise taxes. In truth, the US Government has trillions of dollars in investments and assets that are kept secret in another set of books. These accounts are called the Comprehensive Annual Financial Reports (CAFR), and were masterfully exposed by Walter Burien, who was chased out of town for his efforts. As of 2008, they showed the literal $110 trillion in investment holdings the Government was keeping undisclosed. That’s a lot of health care for a lot of Americans!

Ultimately, I think the best Obamacare solution, whether you decide to enroll or not, is simply to take charge of your own health. It’s far better to invest your money in organic, non-GMO, nutrient-dense food (including super foods) that will make you strong and healthy, than pursue a sloppy diet and lifestyle, get sick, and find yourself reliant upon the Government to provide your health care. You may not be able to control everything about your health, but you certainly can control a lot with your choices. You can also prepare your own natural medicine chest.

Remember, nothing wholly good can come from collectivist programs based on coercion. One group of individuals will always suffer even if other people benefit. It’s a win/lose scenario. The best solutions are win/win. Government programs (like Obamacare) always lead to more government programs. Once government power expands, it never contracts. Only by enshrining the individual above all else can the greatest good of society be served.
