At his trial Jeffrey Epstein repeatedly told one of Virginia Guiffre’s lawyers, Bradley Edwards, the following:
“Mr Edwards, your firm has been described by the U.S. Attorney as a criminal enterprise perpetrating one of the largest frauds in Florida’s history. It has been reported that your firm fabricated multiple cases against me and others in order to fleece unsuspecting investors out of millions and millions of dollars.”

Edwards worked for a law firm which was found guilty of running a Ponzi scheme and whose head was convicted of racketeering, money laundering and wire fraud and sentenced to 50 years in prison. It was described as one of the largest financial fraud's in Florida's history with losses which exceeded $1 billion. It later came to light that more and more false allegations were made by Edwards against Epstein and other rich individuals and with Edwards coming under suspicion as to how deep his involvement went in the fraud, blackmail and extortion.
Prof Alan Dershowitz was told by Guiffre’s main lawyer, David Boies, in a telephone conversation recorded by Dershowitz, that he believed Dershowitz’s evidence that he couldn’t possibly have done what Guiffre accused him of but that he should pay around $1 million to make the accusation “go away”! Considering Boise and Edwards stood to gain 40% of the $1 million had Dershowitz paid they would have earned $400,000 between the two of them. Just from Dershowitz alone! According to Dershowitz they and Guiffre plotted also to extort $1 Billion from Lesley Wexner and money from other billionaires. See the Dershowitz interview below. At this time Boise's reputation had taken a battering from previous cases where his tactics had been viewed as hovering close to ethical misconduct, extortion and blackmail.
Where Prince Andrew was concerned Boies gave TV interviews in which he threatened to force Andrew’s children to answer questions along with a list of senior members of the Royal Family unless he paid up.
